So it has been a terrific weekend for my team, and the organising committee. The 2nd annual competition went well despite the pulling out of a few teams from the competition. It was also the very first time we had a foreign team participating at the competition. Team Denvers from Singapore made thier way here and participated in the partner stunt division, where they won all top three spots.

My team was in a big mission over the weekend that was to come out tops despite having the defending champion CHARM Allstars sending their second strings. Their seniors were in Japan at the same weekend representing our country for the inaugral Asian Cheerleading International Championship.

On the first day of competition we trailed CHARM by 20 points. It wasn't a clean and perfect routine especially when the ending pyramid came to a disastrous fall. I knew we were just too good for everyone, and the only one to beat was ourselves. So the game plan for day two was to just clean the routine, and change the final pyramid which we did.

And that plan worked as we went up 40 points on day two and claiming the challenge trophy back from CHARM. But it wasn't as sweet though because the A team wasn't there. Perhaps the next year.

Our Patron, Dato' M. Kayveas was so generous during the closing ceremony where he would like to donate a challenge trophy called Piala Dato' Kayveas which will be put up for grab next year in which he himself would throw in some cash sponsorship too.

Talk about how generous our politicians are.

Our next assignment would be in Bangkok and UK, but in the bid to do so we have to gather a bigger pull of cheerleaders. Would you like to join us?
