MISS WORLD 2007 GRAND FINAL will be telecast live on Starworld tomorrow night and I cannot freaking wait to watch how Deborah will fare.

I have visited a few reliable pagaent websites and bookmarks, and I have actually summed up my Top15 for tomorrow. Jot it down and make comparison when it is announced tomorrow night!

TOP 15 SEMIFINALIST (see how my prediction went)
1. Angola (1st runner up)
2. Brazil (no entry)
3. China PR (Winner)
4. Dominican Rep (top16)
5. Ghana (top16)
6. Jamaica (top16)
7. Malaysia (top16)
8. Mexico (2nd runner up)
9. Peru (no entry)
10. Philippines (no entry)
11. Trinidad & Tobago (top5)
12.Puerto Rico (top16)
13. Scotland (no entry)
14. Venezuella (top16)
15. USA (top16)

Surprise entry was Sweden, Hong Kong China and Grenada.

And the TOP5 FINALIST (Either one will take the crown)
1. Jamaica
2. China PR
3. Malaysia
4. Dominican Rep
5. Mexico

Only two of 5 from my prediction made the top5. The reason being the best candidate from each continent make the final, in this case I had representative from only two continents for they were the most outstanding. Miss World Organization was contradicting in earlier statements in the early rounds when they promise that there were no more continental winners to decide top5 winners since it deprives certain good candidates of a top5 finish. Hence, Malaysia, Jamaica and Dominican Rep lost. Pity.

MY MALAYSIA OVER THE WEEKEND

I consider the weekend to be the most outrageous in the recent few weeks. First up in the morning I had a text message from a friend who asked me to switch my telly to Al Jazeera channel. I know I was watching the correct channel, and the screen was showing some street with many people making a riot. Wait, I know that street! It's Jalan Ampang!

I wouldn't want to write more on this. My 2 cents of thought, its just a disgrace. If people my people who only populate to 0.0005% of the total population here, and we are really greatful with what is around. So why make a big fuss over some personal gain, dragging so many of thier people on the street. Kalau pesta ok jugak, at least it coincides with the National 50years Independence. But not this kind of pesta please. Mak malu!

Move over, we ought want to just celebrate something else that would be more meaningful to Malaysians. Our number one women singles shuttler Wong Mew Choo, finally break the duck by gaining her first ever international championship title. Not one ordinary but the super series China Open. Mew Choo came through to the finally beating current world number one, Xiefeng and also Olympic champion Zhang Ning enroute to the champion glory.

Mew Choo was my classmate at Sri Garden ( the former Akademi Badminton Malaysia). I knew she would make it big one day because she was one determine girl, plus she had a good physique. Now we might not only need to depend on the men for Olympic gold. We have Mew Choo too!
And finally, our Miss Malaysia at Miss World is doing so fine there. This is her in the final round for the Miss World Top Model fast track event which was eventually won by host, China PR. Not bad for Deborah as she is currently the only four contestant who has made it for at least 3 out of 4 fast track finals. The other 3 are Mexico, Jamaica and China PR. The new Miss World would definetly be from these four girls.

BLACKOUT PARTY - NOT SO

The anticipation was so so high, despite the numerous occasion that I had the gut feeling there would be a raid at the party. Some said the announcement of the party was too soon and it was an ample time for the polices to make their preparation.

In the first case, I think there is no problem with having parties as long these clubs abide by the rules. I don't see why some people are so afraid of the raids especially when they are just the patron and not by far chance are doing anything wrong. We're plainly exercising our rights to club. Isn't it?

So a few friends back out of going, but my urges was still strong. Thanks to Kay for being patience enough to accompany, with a Singaporean friend who was there too with his boyfriend.

The first thing I saw when I went up the stairs was seeing the management guys holding up torch lights in thier hands. I thought these is going to be a hell of a party. Yeah right! Padahal, it was just one gimic shot to me. The dancing floor was already filled up by 12.45am and the crowd was surprisingly enjoying every bit. So mind the raid rumours bit. Let's have some fun.

I got this tiny lights where you wear them on your fingers like a ring, and laser lights would flash out. It cost me 3piece for RM5. Got 2 pairs for both of us, just for the fun of it. Apparently, not everyone was so cool with thier accesories. I only saw this one guy who had sunglasses with lights. Ape motif pulak pakai sunglasses in a blackout area?

I would be lying if I didn't actually went up the podium and flashed my lights, but what turn me down was the music. I thought DJ Ivan was the guru, just last night it proved me wrong. He played some sleezy tracks and which in the end I have to give up my space on the podium to some boy who was so desperate to go up on the podium.

The show was good as compared to the previous two weeks, I mean you can't blame them for being good since its their periuk nasi. The opening act though was great, performed by the SYTYCD finalist. Forgotten his name, but I used to do dance shows with him before. Met him outside right after the show as I intended to go back before being tortured by boredom. He said, "Eleh, biasa je tadi tuh!". I'm like, "Hmmmmm....you kan superstar!".

We left slightly around 215am. I was really bored so we strolled up to McDonalds Bukit Bintang when out of nowhere this two boys was actually cruising us. Wait, was it cruising us or just me?! It tooked about 15minutes for the chase and smile saga to run until everything was answered. Apparently the boy was meeting someone else who was clubbing at Blueboy. And he thought I was that guy as we kind of shared some simillarity. But I left laughing out loud when the guy who came was a little bit bapuk!

Today I went back to campus to collect my previous semester result. I was in the train, nervous, but yet at the same time thinking how jubilant I would be if I really hit the 3.5 pointer.

To cut the chase, one of the 6 subject I took scored a C and which actually pulled down my grade to 3.246 now. I was quite dejected when I saw the points, but at the same I was relief that I still a semester to write off my points up higher. I mean it is not the end of everything, perhaps it is true to the saying that whatever you reap, you sow. Or was it the other way round.

I'm just glad this thing will be over soon, and once classes are over is moving on to the corporate world. Although I still have the burning desire to continue my studies especially to penetrate into a special field like communication, but this would all depend how things turn out next year.

When I was a young boy, I always wanted to be a pilot. Because I can fly all over the world. But when my eye sight fared badly, thanks to television and book reading in the middle of the night the dream will always be one.

As I entered teenage hood, all this glamor lifestyle hit me. I wanted to be this and that, as long it has to do with glam. But when I began to realize there was more in life that I can do, it is not necessary that I needed the glam. What mattered most is to actually contribute yourself and everything within you and surrounding you happen.

I want to be an academician. Someone to lead the young generation. Teaching them about life, before they can smell and feel life for themselves. Like a sergeant preparing his armies for combat. I want to be that.

That is me.
A first local short gay film will be aired privately this coming next month. Find the details below. I'm not too sure who could be contacted for reservations and such but I'm pretty sure its worth the watch. Check the preview.

Date: 16 December (Sunday)
Time: 7pm
Venue: MIA House (Red Bungalow behind the Nasi Kandar Pelita, Jalan Ampang - nearby KLCC)

WHO WAS AT LAQUEEN LAST NITE

1. I was there with two close friends. One a wannabe-dragqueen-but-never-happens friend and the other gay-friend-who-is-the-opposite-of-me friend. The later was there with his Sarawakian ex boyfriend. Oh, another guy came and join the group like midway. Cute boy, but maybe just a bit childish for me.

2. Someone I still fancy from Bangsar, with his friends. I saw him with a new guy. Well I was abit jealous but hey, who am I to him now anyway. At least he had the courtesy to come up to me and gave me a kiss on the chick. I still miss him but I think the whole world is not judging things well between us furthermore its just a complicated one.

3. Another one who is related to the number 2 guy. I know of him long ago before the above. He was more like the kinky dream guy, because he had what it takes to be taken to bed with me. I mean physically wise he was the perfect man for me. Bald, goattee, tough, rough. Did I ever mention he had tattoos too?

4. A cheerleader, whom I trained with 2-3 years back. Then he was thin scrawny but after he transferred to MMU Melaka, he just bloomed into a well defined young man. Well still consider him as a boy lah, still shy 19yo. So adik-adik. He was around with me to catch up with what was happening.

5. Some Malay chap I know from the asshole. The guy who actually took my ex away from me. Well incidentally that night (the night like hell - refer back old posts), this friend of mine introduced me to him. Actually we knew of each other before but maybe it didn't launched well because I was not really his type then. We're keeping in touch on g4m now, chatting.

6. The dancers, these 2 guys who supposed to put fame on me at Laqueen which actually didn't do that well too. I was on the podium with them, but the music was terrible so we weren't really on a square off instead more like being a perasan chic on the podium. Hmmm.

7. One guy who actually gave his business card to me. I thought he was cute in the first place. I mean he had this Chinese Malay mix look plus the goattee which was the add point. He was at the bar when I arrived. We were late so he was actually sitting at the place where I intended to be at. Later on, we were actually introduced by another acquaintance. This guy, a lawyer based in Serdang was a chatty box and then I realised he was actually not my type! An abang who is flamboyant. Gowd. I threw the business card on the streets of Sultan Ismail.

8. One guy I know from g4m. He was doubted as the Papa Diva because he is married and now divorced with one son, and attempting to enjoy his gay life. So this Papa has many many friends, I mean he knows like every Tom, Dick and Harry there. He invited me to one of his gathering at Lake Queen (Tasik Permaisuri). Guess who I bumped into there? My first boyfriend! Fcuk!

9. One guy who I don't get his name until today. Remember last week I gave my drink to him for ice breaking purpose, well it didn't hit well today. Supposedly last night we should be making conversation. But non. Apparently we share the same hangout spot. So I guess I will have to practise my get-to-know-the-other speech for next Friday. He was there with his boyfriend, and friends. Oh, one tragedy. What is one fine fashion rule no-no?? I was wearing this Seed shirt, where his boyfriend did too. I think I look better. Enough said.

10. To round up the 10 guys (though I know more), was this one guy I know from last week at the mamak. He was there with his round of big size friends. I wasn't comfortable again, because he was there with his partner! Although they share an open relationship, but it just don't really work for me. Not now.

MY HOT PICKS FOR MISS WORLD 2007!Miss Mexico and Miss Malaysia

Wednesday, November 14, 2007

My all time favorite girl band is back, making Headlines! Yup that is the title of the new track from the 5 most celebrated girls in the late 90's! Headlines (Friendship Never Ends) and the Spice Girls Greatest Hits Album is out now in store! And don't you think the ad is a little bit hilarious. I could not stop laughing!
I was swimming the night before. But before doing some laps, I went for a smoke. And around the bend at the pool area stood three man. One of it to be of very famillar. Then I figured out after a minute, he was the former neighbour at my block whom I shagged years back! It was one embarassing moment. I mean I was about to tear my clothes down to my swim trunks, to what? Lure him back to the the nearby toilet for a quickie?

I quickly finished my puff, so that he would not see me. I'll just trash myself into the pool and do some quick laps and buzz off before he could say a word.

In between the laps, I managed to peek. Well I think he was too while making his conversation with the two straight looking man. I think it is business talk. And indeed it was.

As the two man was leaving, he was walking towards me and my heart pumped! Suddenly, "Hey Ben!"

Apparently, he was negotiating to buy a place. And I was a little bit shocked that he was hunting down at the old condo we are living in. But whatever it is, what made me write this was he was asking me a few things like what am I doing and stuff.

And he made me to recall the last time we met, in bed. Not literally but it was obvious. Then he popped, "How old are you now?". I said twenty-four.

"Gosh, you're old huh!"

He left me wondering in the pool. Freezing to cold as I stood in the middle of the pool. Wandering, and wondering again. Yes, it has been a while. I'm not old just one growned up young man. A handsome one.
L-R: Philippines, Mexico and Malaysia (apparently Deborah roommate is Miss Manila girl)

MY FLING BLING ENCOUNTER

Scene 1, Laqueen (Friday)
I was back to the night scene after disappearing thanks to my exams on Saturdays! I tagged along BabyJane and a close friend. BabyJane is my junior member from Uni and cheerleading team. I think he has taken me as a hardcore gay guru and initially to be writen down in his history book as the first one to bring him to a gay club! It was really a pleasure to show him around, and whatever the guys were doing that night.

But the best thing ever was that we were lepaking at the bar area where this one particular guy by the name Shah always hangout. That night he was there again (with the bf, I think) and friends who were a bit loud. Shah is the urban contemporary guy, to me. He can be mistaken for a mat salleh because his fair, and tall plus the coloured hair which made him a tailored one.

The best bit is, we always bump into each other and grin. Smile. Nod. But never get to talk. I was on the podium and I know he purposely went over through his friends just to dance by my side. You call that perasan, but I call that club sex. Club sex is a new term coined by me, where you meet meet guys at clubs every other night and just go crazy on the dancefloor. But with no further physical contact. It's more of the emotional (perasaness) bit. Shah is a UiTM grad, and works in KLCC. That's how deep my researched has been.

Laqueen now offers RM15 for two drinks. BabyJane only had one sip, so we kinda had one extra ticket. So what is the best way to spend in on a good investment. Not investment but just a nice cause. I got the extra coke, and actually gave to Shah. The coke was stood standing on the bar for like 15 minutes because I was still uttering whether or not I should do this. Sounds like in the movie bit and I was really freaking out, and shaking a bit when I actually tipped his shoulder and gave him the coke.

We finally spoke a word. He said thank you for the drink. Twice. And he left.

Scene 2, mamak (after Laqueen)
I met a few friends at Laqueen. Some I know from the sauna, one who was a friend's ex, some ex fling of mine, some juniors and the lists go on. I felt like home!

We left a quater after 3 for a drink. I engaged with this one friend from sauna, to have drinks with. And he was with this one gang of friend who apparently also do go to the same sauna in Brickfields. Destination was this one mamak next to the old Musictheque disco. Saw this one guy, whom my ex was once going crazy over. He looked a bit murung.

We had three tables with 10 totally different characters surrounding it. You can sum up 60% of us were overweight aka chub. Not me, but the others who there. This friend from sauna is actually a chub chaser so not surprisingly his friends too are around the same area. But one odd guy was the one who caught my attention. I knew he was a bit shy when we were being introduced. He came late after the trouble of searching for a parking space. TJ has a spectacle on, but he takes them off I feel that he can just fly off minue the underwear and grabbing me on his arms. And just fly! Think superman.

I left the group about an hour later, without having any conversation with TJ. But the non verbal behaviour was enough to know that our radar was communicating. True enough, 5 minutes as I was driving back home my friend from the sauna told me "TJ berkenan nak berkenalan dengan you."

Hmmmmm

Scene 3, one apartment in Ampang (post club)
Today I took the whole day to sleep. Take all the rest I could. Surprisingly I ignored food the whole day which became a personal battle. I put on 3 kilos after the Penang trip, and I really freaked out. So anyway, the rain didn't stop and home was quiet. Mom, dad and practically all human beings fled off somewhere and I was home alone.

I had some dvds I bought from Penang to run through but an sms from this one guy changed my plans. This guy from G4M texted me a week ago just before me leaving, and I remembered so well that he actually did not posted up any pic. I insisted for one after my reply, and he attached one later which I took him to pass my average guy test.

I drove up to his place, which was less 5 minutes. I have not met someone from the internet for so bloody long. And the excitement plus anxiety was ragging in me. I wore something out of norm because all my shorts was still in the laundry. Jeans was a no no because it was just casual coffee meeting. And since the weather was cold, I needed a sweater.

Zaky apparently became not just my average guy, he actually passed one up notch. Admit it some of us are not born to be photogenic, and same goes to him. To sum it up, he just looked much much better in person. He speaks fluent English, and an educated one. But only one fall point though that he is engaged to a woman.

According to him, this was a period of exploration before his marriage. Zaky was an interesting chat. Although time was short, we covered almost everything that made my brains drill. Headhunting, gay pastor, animation movie, threesome was some worth mentioning ones.

I would sleep with Zaky just for the sake of having sex and get it over and done with. But not someone to go further like TJ or Shah. Zaky is getting married and I dont want to be a mistress!
Miss Word 2007 saga has just begun, with the arrivals of 107 delegates late last week. The Opening Press Conference was held 2 days back, and already the worldwide media has already made thier personal favorites. Find above, the top 6 favorites who has the chance to grab the title this year! From L-R: MALAYSIA, Trinidad and Tobago, Lithuania, Angola, China and Russia.

Our Miss Malaysia, Deborah Henry is definetly doing very well at Sanya, China. According to the reliable beauty pagaent critic, GlobalBeauties, Miss Malaysia is a Top4 on The Royal Flush whereby 6 Miss World experts vote for their candidates they believe are closer to the crown. Miss Malaysia was also doubt as the perfect Miss World, a fashion model with a degree and a founder to a notable charity organization.

Fingers crossed! Hopefully Deborah will have better luck than Lina Teoh did in 1998!

Friday, November 09, 2007

Welcome to Penang! I was over there the last weekend for 4 days. On Saturday, right after my last exam paper I hurried myself with my backpack to the oldrailway station in KL. I was a little bit upset because the KTM service that very day was really slow. A snail could have reached much earlier! But anyway, I was excited for this planned trip as I was to meet my ex over there who was on a contract event job. This could complicate things, going for a holidays with your ex and what not. But I wanted a true companion and who else to be the perfect suite.

We stayed at Tanjung Bunga Beach Resort, thats 20 minutes from town and about 10 minutes to Batu Feringgi.

Enjoying the beach all I can! The last time I remember having fun on the beach was a decade ago in Miri. What else to make the fun one notch up with my perfect tou toech jump! Hah! These was the 13th shot anyway, my beloved cameraman was still adjusting to his new part time job.

Sorry, this is me in my poyo pose! It's like so mat rempit!

This is queing at the "best nasi kandar in penang" the Line Clear Nasi Kandar at Chao Rasta Street. I had a portion but I thought I had a better one at another nearby Nasi Kandar. Hmmmm.

Another food cuisine. The Famous Penang Chendol. Maybe because I was already blotted up with the other tiny bits of food I had on the street so the chendol didn't do much for me. Just opposite that stall stood another one which had the same "Famous Penang Chendol" tagline on their signage. But as I stood 5 minutes trying to consume mine, all the passer by eventually stops at the one where we were at. Interesting.

The last day, we went up to Penang Hill aka Bukit Bendera. The journey up on the hill railway train took nearly 20 minutes. It was slow and all you could do at that moment was to appreciate the surrounding nature.

This is acknowledgely the first batch of the railway train made of wood. The Penang Hill first started to roll in 1927 with the fund support from the British Government. It costs 1.6million straits dollars at that time to build the project.

What can you get out of true excitement? The pain! I fell down the slippery stairs of Bukit Bendera. Fcuk it all!
The last stop, the temple. I was already wired down but my ex so insisted to go. There was this huge bell where you can knock it and eventually you will be strucked with good luck. Do I really need one after my fall? No thanks.

This was a perfect present for the hardwork for exams I went through and I'm looking forward for my next trip to Bangkok in January! A 25th birthday gift!
