I read this book when I was 18yo. I remembered Miss Chian, who recommended my class to read this inspirational book. Miss Chian was my Economics lecturer when I sat for the Cambridge A-levels at Taylor's Subang.
She was keen in getting my other friends to at least buy the book which was actually cheaper than our textbook. And as someone who is so easily influenced especially when it comes to things which can tickle my mind, that very day I made myself to Kinokuniya KLCC. I vividly remembered it still because that was the only bookstore I go to then. And KLCC was just the in place to see other PLUs.
Mitch Albom was easy in his writing. It's about an old man and a young man and life's greatest lesson, which is actually printed on the first page. Dungu! Well actually, Morie wrote this book based on his personal experience with his college professor almost 25 years back. So the two tales intertwine to one another where it comes to a beautiful end.
You haven't read this, you better get a copy before you move on to Morrie's next best selling which is also a sequel to this.
