This year, Christmas is in town after 3 years having celebrations in kampung. My uncles, aunts and cousins from Miri and Lawas arrived over the weekend and have one small family gathering. Home was decorated as though it was given a new breathe of air. The Xmas tree was prettier than ever. Mum baked 8 different cakes including carot and Australian fruit cake.

I enjoyed every bit, despite the constant hours of serving our guests. But the time spent with my cousins especially was indeed one true moment since some of them are leaving to Sudan, Africa as my aunt got posted there for 3 years with Petronas.

Every year, Christmas has always been the only time that I can really rely on having the special occasion with my family members. Although I did tried to squeeze some time for socialising bit. On the eve, I visited Laqueen for God sake!

I wish the new year will bring me good stuff. I mean everyone would be hoping for a new start, with many resolutions. Gowd, I remembered mine from last year and I don't really recall if I actually did accomplished all of it.

I read the Chinese horoscope for 2008, and the year of Rat would be one same year for Pigs. FYI, I was born in the year of Pig (1983). According to the book, I would be enticed to try new things in life. And above all, money should be spend wisely! I know what I want to accomplish next year, and one of it would be my graduation day!

Finally!

My Christmas Tree

I'm still so much glued with the whole Miss World frenzy and just last week the MOST SEXIEST WOMEN ALOVE 2007 was announced on globalbeauties.com

440 beauty queens, from the 5 grand slam beauty pagaents of the year (which includes Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Earth) vied for the Top 36 spots. And with the two major pagaent winners for this year was from the Asia continent, it didn't do much justice for this particular award. Of the 36 places, only 4 beaty queens from Asia made it. 3 from Miss Universe, and 1 from Miss World.

Jeng jeng jeng.

The three queens from Miss Universe is the winner from Japan, the top 5 winner from Korea and the top 15 finalist from India.

And the only Asian queen from Miss World is.....Deborah! Surprising is it, when the Miss World 2007 herself from China did not even make it. This is the true winner!

I was in Singapore the last weekend for 5 days. I was there to attend a cheerleading coaching certification. But at the same time, took it as a Christmas break. And I was quite lucky to have my dear friend K with me.

I arrived in the wee Friday morning, having all the miscalculation of the bus ride from KL to Singapore. It resulted in me having to wait on the street for nearly 2 hours for the first bus to town which was at 615am. This is me at Chinatown, Mosque Street where I stayed the next few nights. It took me an hour or so to find a suitable place for me. There were few ones before but some was just sleezy, and overpriced.
K arrived Saturday morning 4am. I had only 4 hours sleep and which was not enough for me because the course duration was from 9am til 6pm! I kinda overslept when I was suppose to greet him at the Chinatown MRT.

This is at Clark Que MRT station. Or say the area surrounding. I didn't really enjoyed this part of the place because it was just streets. The nearby attraction is the Boat Quey where all the river scenary can be seen. It is so opposing that the place is only beautiful in the night because of the lights.

Taking pictures, posing unnecessary we want. This is in the MRT or was it that we were waiting for one. Be like a real tourist.

I don't like the part where you just missed the train, and wait for the next one. And the best part when there is just so many people. Resah!
